Christmas Gift Idea from the Toddler

While perusing Pinterest the other day, I found a craft idea that would be a lot of fun for Destructo and would make good Christmas gifts for family.  You basically spell out a word with tape on a canvas and let your child finger paint on top of it.  When it dries, you remove the tape and wahlahhh the word in on the canvas.

Check out the blog As Time Flies here for more instructions and recipes for homemade finger paint.  I really love that because Destructo is prone to eating everything still and I like to know at least what he is ingesting is safe.

I will be sure to post an update once I actually do it.  Possibly tomorrow since I have two canvases laying around from another project that I never did.

    Visiting from Serendipity & Spice... noticed the rug you have in your (living?) room. I once had the EXACT same rug! We sold it before moving across the country...

    Anyway, just thought I'd compliment you on your awesome taste in rugs! ;)

      I love this rug and it was cheap enough that once it is trashed, I will just get another one. (Oh and it is my living room.) Thanks for checking out my blog. I currently follow yours.
