Fill in the Blank Letter to Your Child

At my baby shower, my mom (who rivals Martha Stewart in creativeness) printed up these adorable little letters on card stock with a ribbon and a name tag that had Destructo's name on it.  I thought I would share it here so that you can answer these statements for your children and give it to them down the road when they are adults.  Everyone at my shower filled these out and I will forever cherish some of their answers.  Here are the questions in bold and my answers to Destructo not in bold.

Edited to add:  My bad.  Apparently it was Martha Stewart Jr. (aka my sister Dayna) who made this for my shower.  She was super offended that I didn't properly recognize her efforts.

This was what they looked like


 I hope you learn        to live each day to it's fullest.

 I hope you aren't afraid of   aliens (or anything really.)

 I hope you love    deeply and the little things.

 I hope you get     to live to be 100.

 I hope you travel to   wherever your dreams take you.

 I hope you laugh     every single day.


 I hope you never forget     how very much I love you.

 I hope you ignore     any hurtful comments you get.

 I hope you become     an honest, caring man.

 I hope you                love animals                                    like your Mommy.

 I hope you                    have a strong faith                                like your Daddy.

 I hope you grow    tall and strong and healthy.

 I hope you     aim for the stars and achieve your dreams.

      I loved it because I am going to give them to him/his wife when he is older. I figure he might enjoy seeing all the wishes for his life from family and friends.

      Thanks. I hope I have something that gets people together with the next shower so I can do something similar for baby number two. (Well assuming I have a baby number two.)
